David Bambling
David was born and raised north of Gympie before relocating to Brisbane to complete his secondary education. After graduating, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Queensland.
During his university studies, David began his legal career at a boutique firm in North Lakes, gaining early experience in family law, wills and estates, and conveyancing. Since then, he has held a variety of roles across the legal sector, including positions as a law clerk in national insurance law firms and research assistant to a King’s Counsel. David has now settled into his role as a lawyer at Suthers Taylor. These experiences have allowed David to develop a broad and adaptable skill set, enhancing his versatility as a legal professional.
With his rural background, David brings a grounded perspective and a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by regional clients. This insight enables him to deliver practical, high-quality legal advice tailored to each client’s individual needs.
David is also committed to giving back to the community through his involvement in a local community legal centre, where he regularly provides pro bono legal advice. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys tennis, cricket, snow skiing, and reading, as well as staying active in his local community through social and sporting events.
