Nicole George is a lawyer at Suthers Taylor.

Nicole was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2025. Before her admission, she spent several years working as a paralegal in litigation, assisting with the preparation of briefs, affidavits and court documents, supporting matters through to settlement, and working with barristers, experts and insurers.

Nicole practises in planning, environment and resumption. She acts for landholders, graziers, developers and businesses across Queensland in matters involving development approvals, priority development areas, environmentally relevant activity approvals, compensation claims in the Land Court, body corporate disputes, and the sale and purchase of rural and grazing properties.

Before studying law, Nicole studied International Relations. She spent time as an exchange student in Germany, where she also worked in a press office, and continues to speak German. During her legal studies, Nicole volunteered with community legal services, attending evening advice sessions and assisting with the preparation of advice under supervision. The experience reinforced the importance of providing clients with clear, practical advice about their position, options and likely costs.

Away from work, Nicole enjoys reading, writing and travelling whenever she can, and hopes to one day travel the Silk Road.
